Second Life, being innately connected to Real Life does not constitute a separate reality. Although SL's anonymity provides a shield to the Real Life participants, the active puppeteering that goes on behind the avatars comprise the thoughts and actions of very real people.
Nihilism is always lurking just around every dark corner in SL, although many virtuous people are actively resisting this trend, just as in Real Life.
I continue to be fascinated with this virtual place.
